One of Staffordshire’s most popular waterfront pubs has unveiled its new look, reaping glowing feedback from customers this week.
The Waterfront at Barton Marina has undergone an exciting refurbishment to the main bar and restaurant areas, including new flooring, a new bar, a new kitchen, new furniture and décor as well an overhaul of the outside terraces.
Pete, who was a former sous chef at the Michelin Recommended, 3 Rosette Paris House Restaurant in Woburn, Bedford, has 13 years of kitchen experience in addition to formal training in classical French cuisine and pastry.
Meanwhile, on the first floor The Crow’s Nest will return to being able to host weddings, private functions and business events, having been used as a temporary home for dining and pub customers during the refurbishment.
General Manager Megan Morrish said: “We have invested a lot of time and thought into making all areas of the pub as contemporary and stylish as possible. I think we have given our customers even more reasons to visit us! It was rewarding to see how well the refurb has been received by those who have already come to have a look and just goes to show that all the hard work over the last few weeks has been worthwhile.
“Pete has cooked up a delicious new menu as part of our revamp to create a truly fresh experience for all our customers, old and new. We look forward to welcoming everybody into our fantastic new-look bar and restaurant.”
