Hundreds of shoppers are expected to flock to Barton Marina on Sunday, 30th April for the return of its popular Sunday Artisan Market.
On the last Sunday of every month from April to November, a host of diverse, talented arts and crafts makers will be showcasing their high-quality goods.
The market is one of the highlights of Barton Marina’s events calendar and attracts visitors from far and wide. With its lakes and walks, Staffordshire’s best-loved landmark caters for people wanting a day out and some fun.
Michelle Lees, Events Manager for the Waterfront pub and restaurant, said: “We’re really excited to see the Sunday Artisan Market back for the 2017 season with lots of exciting new stall-holders as well some of the old favourites.
“The market not only gives the on-site retailers a chance to shine, but visitors can pick up something special that they wouldn’t find on the High Street.
“There is always an impressive line-up of stalls, and loads of places to eat and drink. Apart from the recently-refurbished Waterfront’s not-to-be-missed Sunday lunches – on-line booking available – Barton Marina boasts the Red Carpet Cinema and café bar, the Apple Tree Coffee Lounge, the Nipa Thai restaurant and the Marina Café.”
Among the stallholders signed up to the 2017 season are Ranfire Designs (unique and patterned jewellery), Truly Creative Designs (giftware), Noon Bags (cotton/canvas bags), Pretty Swish (ladies accessories), Spice Fever (samosas) and Jem (Italian clothing).
The market runs from 10am to 4pm.
